This should be completed on an ongoing basis. Before each class, jot down some key points from each reading and your thoughts about them. You are welcome to respectfully challenge the authors, such as by suggesting alternative viewpoints drawn from other readings or thinking through artistic and educational practices you are more familiar with. You are encouraged to make direct connections to historic and current events as well as your own experiences.
After class, record your thoughts, experiences, notes, comments, and questions from: 1) class discussions, 2) studio experience, and 3) outside of class as you draw new connections and raise new questions.
